Destiny’s Hidden Script

“I think the past is always painful,” I said.
But not all of it. Three years ago, my past was beautiful. No one envied my life back then, no one said they wished they were living my life. But I was happy—truly happy—maybe…because of Faraz. It wasn’t a ‘maybe.’ It was certain. Now, people look at me and say, “You dreamed of studying abroad, and you did it.” But when I think back, all I feel is the loss. I sacrificed something precious to make that dream a reality.

Her identity

At night, I waited for Aunt Japan’s message, but none came. Today was the happiest day of my life, and I felt I had half-won the challenge.
I figured she would message me the next morning.
I woke at 6 a.m. and checked my phone. No message. She usually messaged at 5:30 a.m. sharp. Maybe she knew she was losing the challenge and didn’t want to face failure.

He grinned, flashing his pearly whites, “If anyone caught wind of this, they’d probably cook up a whole conspiracy theory. College students, right? It’s like everyone’s chugging down extra shots of brain to prove something to someone.”

Love Means

Growing up, I watched two women I adored carry two completely different definitions of love. For Grandma, love was magic—something worth every struggle. For Mom, it was a wound that never fully healed. I’ve learned that love isn’t one universal truth—it’s shaped by the life that teaches it to you.

Love Means

I’ve never seen Mom cry—ever. She’s been my rock, my shield, my unshakable wall. But Grandma once told me she was once soft as rain. Life hardened her, not because she wanted it to, but because she had to. Now I know—sometimes the strongest people are the ones who once felt the most.

When I pen each character, I feel their heart.
I live their joys, their fears, their dreams.
I hope that when you read them,
you can feel it too.

About the Author

Meet Shaifa

Hi, I’m Shaifa. Once, I spent my days coding, building websites and apps, and creating content in the fast-paced world of IT. Then, my curiosity and love for creativity led me to start my own branding and marketing agency in Dubai.

But even amidst all that, I never stopped writing. Words have always been my way of exploring life, capturing dreams, and sharing little sparks of hope. Here, I write short stories and inspiring blogs that I hope will touch your heart — just as writing has always touched mine.

And beyond all the careers and projects, I’m a mother to a beautiful daughter — a little human who reminds me every day why stories, inspiration, and imagination matter so much.
